This school holidays, join artist and children’s art educator Rose Strachen in the children’s art library at the Art Gallery of New South Wales for hands-on fun, creating three-dimensional artworks that explore the theme of ‘identity’.
Using recycled and repurposed cardboard and paper tape, you might choose to create a piece that showcases your own identity or be inspired by a character you identify with from a book.
Drop in any time between 11am and 12.30pm. Materials and instructions are provided. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
