We had been looking forward to the Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail at Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden for some time now so we headed there this afternoon and still had a nice walk around the trail even though it was raining. This free exhibition is on until 7th October and showcases 40 diverse sculptures created by professionals, amateurs and children. All sculptures are made from recycled materials that were repurposed artistically and that can be seen across two trails. Both trails are located next to the visitor centre this year. There is limited parking next to the centre but additional parking in other areas nearby. Be sure to scan the QR code on the trail signs near the start of the trail if you would like to read and understand each sculpture as you walk through each trail. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite sculpture towards the People’s Choice Award. Here’s a few of our favourite sculptures on the trails (in no particular order). The kids enjoyed it again this year and were impressed by the junior category sculptures.

Ku-ring-gai’s Sculpture Trail celebrates sustainable Art in the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden.

The trail will showcase the skill and imagination of both renowned artists and emerging talent, from across the region. Artists are invited to create on-theme sculptures to be displayed outdoors at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden in St Ives from 1 September through to 7 October 2024.
