The Conservation Caper

  • Australian Museum (map)

In an action-packed theatre performance set to entertain the whole family, watch Nikki Nature learn the importance of protecting our precious Earth.

Join the fun as the National Theatre for Children takes over the Australian Museum (AM) Theatre these school holidays. Help superhero Nikki Nature as she learns ways to protect the environment with the help of you, her audience.

In this performance exclusive to the AM, kids will learn the importance of conserving Earth’s natural resources and protecting our planet, using their knowledge to help Nikki as she attempts to beat her archenemies in the Big Quiz on conservation.

The Conservation Caper combines a mix of comedy, high-energy performances and audience participation that’s sure to entertain and inspire the whole family.

The National Theatre for Children (NTC) was founded with the specific goal of educating students and their families on important societal issues through meaningful programming. The award-winning programs cover topics such as environmental stewardship, social responsibility, water conservation and emergency preparedness. Collaborating with organisations such as the Australian Museum aims to inspire the next generation of scientists, artists, thinkers, pioneers and world citizens.
