The prestigious Chatswood Year of the Snake Festival is an annual festival celebrating Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival. This is celebrated in many Asian countries including China, Vietnam, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. The festival usually falls between late January and mid-February, depending on the lunar calendar.
The 2025 festival will be held from 23 January to 16 February 2025, celebrating the Year of the Snake. The festival features a wide range of multicultural events, including the Lunar New Year Celebration Day with a lantern parade, workshops, night markets and more.
