Sydney is about to sparkle with extra magic this Christmas, as HBO Max brings the wizarding world to life with a festive, firstof-its-kind activation in Australia: the Christmas Knight Bus. 

Inspired by the iconic purple, triple-decker bus from the Harry Potter films, the Christmas Knight Bus will offer free festive rides for witches, wizards and Muggles alike — available for one weekend only starting Saturday 13 and finishing on Sunday 14 December.

Across the magical weekend, the bus will journey through some of Sydney’s most iconic locations — from The Rocks, winding through Paddington, all the way to the shores of Bondi Beach.

Operating between 12pm and 9pm, passengers can hop on or off at either end of the route. The Rocks - 1b George Street, Dawes Point Bondi - Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach (Opp Bondi Beach Public School) 

The Christmas Knight bus will operate on a firstcome, first served basis, with no tickets or prebooking required. Offering Australians a new way to relive the nostalgia, warmth and wizardry of Harry Potter, HBO Max’s Christmas Knight Bus promises a joyful celebration of one of the world’s most beloved film franchises — just in time for the holidays.
