  • Sydney Opera House (map)

Join the artists from Theatre Madam Bach (Denmark) creators of You Are Here for a professional music and sound making for early years creative workshop.

Creating theatre with music and sound for early years

Music in theatre for Early Yearsexploring the world through sound is a hands on workshop that reveals how Theatre Madam Bach’s craft soundscapes and music when creating performances and art projects for a young audience (Ages 3 - 6).

This 3 hour creative workshop begins with an introduction to the company’s creative philosophy, followed by two immersive sessions that focus on the art of listening and creating sound together.

Participants will learn to awaken their senses and learn to deeply experience the music in everyday sounds, and create a soundscape together with a personal sound and object.

You will leave with new tools and perspectives for using sound to captivate and inspire young audiences.

This workshop is suitable for emerging, mid and senior level artists, educators and early childhood professionals interested in music in theatre for early years. Your ticket is for both a place in the workshop and to see the performance You Are Here.
