  • Pirrama Park, Pyrmont (map)

Sydneysiders, it’s time to dust off your picnic rugs and grab your mates—Pyrmont Festival is back for 2025! Mark your calendars for 17-18 May as Pirrama Park transforms into a buzzing hub of gourmet delights, award-winning wines, craft beers, gin, cocktails and live entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney Harbour.

Now in its 13th year, the Pyrmont Festival has become a much-loved fixture on the city’s cultural calendar, showcasing the best of NSW’s wine regions, local produce, and vibrant food scene. This year’s festival is bigger than ever, bringing together winemakers, brewers, distillers, food producers, and artisans from across the state, alongside some of Pyrmont’s finest local businesses—including a Japanese Aburi Bar and Cheeky Naked Oyster Bar from Sydney Fish Market that’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Festival Director Alex Gibbs said, “This year’s festival is a true celebration of local flavour, with 24 wineries and breweries showcasing the best of NSW. Meet the winemakers from regions across NSW and taste over 100 wines.

“Meet the distillers from our five local distilleries. Enjoy an exciting cocktail range from barrel-aged apple pie liqueur to bold pink gins and native botanicals, along with small-batch spirits made with real fruit. There’s plenty to sip and savour.”

“You’ll also find top-notch food vendors serving everything from fresh seafood to woodfired pizza, with local art on display throughout the precinct. It’s a festival for everyone—whether you're a wine lover, a foodie, or just looking for a fun day out with friends, family or a first date by the harbour,” he added.
