OUR REVIEW OF BUBBLE PLANET: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

#sydney OUR REVIEW and TIPS - Bubble Planet: The Immersive Experience at the Fever Pavilion at Sydney Olympic Park. We recently headed to the NEW @fever_global experience - Bubble Planet: The Immersive Experience and were surrounded by bubbles of all shapes, sizes and colours!

Get your phone and/or camera ready as you won’t want to miss the awesome photo opportunities that the 10 themed rooms provide. We blew up our own giant balloon and played with floating balloons in the Bubble Ocean room - the kids had so much fun in there so did the adults! Chaos is an understatement ha!

Our next favourite room was the Bubble Bath room, get ready to jump into a huge bubble bath/ball pit, little ones will need help to get in/out of the bath and so will adults (make sure you engage those core muscles ha!).

The Infinity room was a great room for stunning photos and the Selfies Hub was also very creative and fun. The Sparkling Bubbles was also great for little ones, especially as mirror created those extra dimensions.

We also liked walking through the ocean LED wonderland in the Underwater Room.

We walked through a Giant Bubble Dome, the kids loved chasing real bubbles in the Soap Bubbles Room and sketching and posting their drawing to the underwater scene.

Last but not least, the kids and I really enjoyed the Virtual Reality VR room with all the bubbles, colours, animals and more - it was an awesome virtual world and I found myself swinging in that chair to see all angles of the experience hah! Note: VR is for kids aged 8 years+. This is extra on top of your tickets unless you buy the VIP package.

Our Tips for Bubble Planet: The Immersive Experience:

  • Tickets: Pre-book your tickets to avoid disappointment especially during busy periods (weekends, school holidays etc.). Kids under 2 are free. Book tickets here.

  • VIP option tickets: You have to option to buy this when purchasing your ticket, the VIP includes 1x Lanyard with VIP card, 1 x VR session, choice of 1 of 4 Bubble Planet posters and 1 x bubbles wand. Kids aged 8 years + can do the VR Option.

  • Duration: Can take from 60 to 90 minutes

  • Parking: There is street parking but we opted for the easy option of parking at Car Park 1 at Sydney Olympic Park next to Qudos Arena. If you are heading to the event on a day which has a major event on (check the Olympic Park website first) - make sure you pre-book parking. Casual parking is $7 per hour up to a maximum of $35 per day in our car parks is available.

  • Event location: Bubble Planet: The Immersive Experience is located at Paddington Pavillion, Olympic Blvd, at Sydney Olympic Park. If you’re parking at Car Park 1, it’s a short walk until you see gates with Fever events and Paddington Pavillion. See map below too.

  • What to bring: There is no cloakroom on-site so plan to bring only necessities to avoid carrying things. The Bubble Bath room has some bookshelves to store belongings. No outside food allowed however we brought a water bottle in a small kids backpack. Bring socks for the bubble bath room.

  • Food around the event area: We didn’t see any food places around, so bring snacks with you to have after or leave in your car if you’re driving for after event snacks as kids will be hungry/thirsty after this one.

  • Pram parking: Pram parking is available onsite.

  • Toilets: There are 2 rows of 4 standalone toilets outside of the Bubble Planet experience.

  • Allergies and sensitivities: There are a couple of rooms which feature latex production elements, but only in one room you’ll get directly in contact with latex. This event will include strobe lights. For us this event is high sensory in terms of lights, colours, elements and music.

  • Accessibility: The event is mainly walk-through expect for some areas which have limited seating such as the VR room and the drawing/merch room.
