This FREE annual science get-together offers an evening of discovery, research highlights and engaging conversations, hosted by Bernie Hobbs and in collaboration with Botanic Gardens of Sydney, UNE and UTS.
The Sydney Science Trail presents a free after-hours event for the science community, hosted by award-winning science writer and broadcaster Bernie Hobbs. Bring your colleagues and form connections with like-minded science enthusiasts while enjoying live music and pop-up exhibits at the Australian Museum.
Spark curiosity and conversation with special science talks presented by UTS and UNE. Discover the breadth of research covered at the Australian Museum and Botanic Gardens of Sydney by breaking the ice at the speed-dating-style activity Meet a Scientist!
Enjoy after-hours access to the Museum's ground floor galleries including the Climate Solutions Centre's Future Now exhibition and the Sydney Science Trail Expo. Drop-in to science activations such as Prototype Corner featuring never before seen digital software and play Remediate, the strategy card game developed by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology. Plus try your hand at botanical drawings guided by the Botanic Gardens team or drop-in to the Theatre to watch episodes of What the Flora.
