#Sydney REVIEW – Here You Come Again at Theatre Royal Sydney.
Opening night last Saturday was filled with wigs, rhinestones, cowboy boots and even an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most Dolly look-alikes in one spot ha
The show takes us back to the covid era, where a diehard Dolly fan tries to find himself again with the help of her music. Hits like Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream and I Will Always Love You filled the room, alongside moments into Dolly’s life through stories and songs. I’ve always admired Dolly Parton for her musical career but also for her Imagination Library, delivering free books to children up to age five in the US, UK, Australia and Ireland, and for raising awareness of endometriosis. Both causes which are close to my heart, such a kind lady!
Tricia Paoluccio @triciapaoluccio was the sweetest Dolly, warm, funny and adored by the audience. Dash Kruck @dashkruck brought quirky humour and heart. The all-Australian ensemble and live band didn’t miss a beat! Such a fun musical to watch with friends and family and to fall in love with Dolly all over again!
Recommended for ages 10+ due to adult themes and coarse language. Now showing at Theatre Royal Sydney until 12 October 2025.
