Beaches, blockbusters and pool parties: January joys unleashed on the Northern Beaches

Celebrate summer and all the things loved about the Northern Beaches this January.

Northern Beaches Council has several fun family events happening in the lead up to Australia Day long weekend.

Head to Pittwater Rugby (Rat) Park for a FREE Open Air Cinema on the eve of Australia Day, offering a fantastic night out for families. Bring a rug and enjoy an evening beneath the stars, with a picnic or buy dinner from a range of food trucks.

On Australia Day, the aquatic centres will be bustling with activities and entertainment for families to enjoy.
