Calling all dance maniacs! Come to Dance Mania - where ballet, contemporary and hip hop collide! learn from experienced professional dancers as you collaborate, design and perform your own work at the Sydney Opera House.
Dance Mania is a 2 day workshop for both experienced dance students and those curious to give dance a go.
Over 2 days you will learn simple improvisation, composition and how to make a dance performance. You will build skills in a range of dance styles – from Hip Hop, Capoeira, and contemporary dance, to classical ballet, gaining methods for combining them creatively. Dance Mania will conclude with a performance for family and friends with simple costumes, lighting and a live DJ set with DJD on the "wheels of steel", bringing your dance to the next level!
