In celebration of Winnie The Pooh’s 100th, the laneways of The Grounds of Alexandria have been transformed into the magical world of The Hundred Acre Wood.
With hints of honey, adventure and wonder at every corner, this unique experience will guide guests down a nostalgic path of imagination from the land of their favourite silly old bear. Celebrated for its immersive experiences, attracting both locals and tourists to its uniquely themed spaces, The Grounds of Alexandria is recognised as one of the world’s most Instagrammable destinations, bringing stories to life with ever-evolving installations and events. The Winnie The Pooh laneway takeover opens Saturday September 12 and runs until November 1, 2026.
The Grounds will welcome visitors to a world inspired by Winnie the Pooh where every path whispers adventure and every corner hides a little wonder. Guests will journey through an immersive experience featuring enchanting photo moments, life sized character sculptures and beautifully themed displays.
Laneway one will welcome visitors to The Hundred Acre Wood as they enter Pooh’s house, passing some of his silly and steadfast friends along the way. At the intersection of the two laneways, guests will find themselves in a sticky photo moment of layered honey pots before Pooh himself. Crossing over the iconic bridge from The Hundred Acre Wood, the adventure continues onto laneway two at Rabbit’s garden. Every blooming flower, winding path and hidden patch of vegetables feels touched by a little bit of magic, where wonder grows as naturally as the seasons. Visitors will finish their journey with a selection of product to purchase or discover more about what is on offer for Winnie the Pooh 100th.
Every step holds a surprise: treasures displayed in glass cases, products woven seamlessly into the scenery, and QR codes that unlock the chance to take home a piece of the magic. This is more than an experience, it’s journey of nostalgia, joy and memories the public will cherish forever.

How to visit:
By Day: After enjoying a meal at The Cafe, The Garden or The Potting Shed, keep your receipt close and make your way into the laneways. Take a stroll through Pooh’s world and enjoy the playful details waiting along the way.
By Night: As the sun sets, the laneways take on a new glow. Guests dining at The Potting Shed can continue their visit after dark, experiencing a different side of the celebration beneath the evening lights.
Notes: Oh bother! The laneways will be closed for a private event on Friday, 11 September, but you can wander in and join us again from Saturday, 12 September.
