This autumn, the Beyond Blue Charity Zone will be the perfect place to reignite little minds with an exciting new program of interactive activities. Each morning, Wayapa Wuurrk will host Indigenous yoga and earth connection sessions alongside Bushfood classes by CERES. Giant snakes and ladders, life-sized Jenga and football target games will provide hours of fun with drawing and colouring activities in the Arts Marquee for mini Monets.
For families looking to get hands on, 15-minute growing workshops will be available at the Scotts Osmocote marquee. Come and be dazzled by the beauty and diversity of The Diggers Club perennial border displays and learn all about the flavour, productivity, and history of heirloom vegetables. Come to their education hub for free all-day workshops and check out their mini urban farm to learn how to grow an abundance of food in small spaces.
The Victorian Schools Garden Program will host daily multisensory activities for aspiring horticulturalists. Celebrating the importance of pollinators in the garden, the Bee Inspired area will be a-buzz with interactive experiences and displays. Over in The Sustainability Space, mini minds can learn about healthy waste habits and creative ways of reusing and recycling materials around the home and in the backyard. A sneaky nod to parents to encourage kids to help out at home!
