Grandparents’ Week at Werribee Open Range Zoo

The Werribee Open Range Zoo is hosting an inaugural week long Grandparents' week from Saturday 21st to Friday 27th of November. The week long program will have a range of special activities for grandparents and their grandkids to do together.

Children can meet the Meerkats, hang out with the Hippos, go on a Junior Safari and enjoy a special program of games, craft activities, talks and tours during Grandparents’ Week at Werribee Open Range Zoo. 

From dress-ups and craft activities in Ranger Kids, to morning tea with the Koalas, singalong safaris and hula-hooping at Hippo Beach, this week-long program is packed with activities for kids and their grandparents to do together.

Grandparents’ Week will also be celebrated at Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary with a range of special activities on offer.

Grandparents' Week is taking place from Saturday 21st to Friday 27th of November at Werribee Open Range Zoo, K Road in Werribee from 9am to 5pm (special activities from 10am to 2:30pm). General admission applies for adults, Kids under 3 are Free every day, Kids under 16 are free on weekends and special holidays. Zoo members can bring up to 4 grandparents for FREE!
