Little Miss and I were invited to a special event last Friday to celebrate Stiles & Drewe's The 3 Little Pigs' UK musical coming to Melbourne at the Arts Centre next month.
Little ones and Little Miss were spoilt with arts & crafts on arrival. She made her own pig ears, coloured them with glitter glues and pencils and also made her own 3 Little Pigs stick puppets with the Big Bad Wolf included of course!
After some curly crafts, little ones were treated to a special storytime of the three little pigs' classic fairytale and a song preview of the Stiles and Drewe's 3 Little Pigs' musical by the Big Bad Wolf himself. Little Miss was very attentive to the Big Bad Wolf's great voice and tapped her feet during the musical preview. Such a treat!
After the preview, little ones were spoilt with cute and delicious piggy cupcakes, gingerbread houses and a Little Piglet lunchbox.
The Stiles and Drewe's 3 Little Pigs' musical is a 'curly musical tale' by the award winning songwriters of Mary Poppins. This fun and colourful musical will feature three very modern little pigs, their mother and the Big Bad Wolf. It is suitable for children 3 years + and their families.
The story features Mother Pig as a single parent who has decided it's time for her three youngsters (Bar who loves to exercise, Bee who is 'green to the core' and Q the insatiable bookworm) to leave the sty. Together they learn to work together to defeat the Big Bad (possibly misunderstood) Wolf.
The musical will feature the stars of London's West End as well as catchy songs, colourful costumes and jokes for little ones and their parents to enjoy.
The Stiles and Drewe's The 3 Little Pigs' musical is on at the Arts Centre Melbourne from Saturday 2nd January to Sunday 17th of January 2016. Tickets from $26. Ages 3+. More info on the Arts Centre's website.
