Easter School Holidays are days away..!
Lots on these Easter school holidays! Little ones, parents and carers can enjoy a range of activities and events these holidays. Little Miss and I will try and do most of them, wish us luck!! Museums, Galleries, Zoos and Aquarium:
Melbourne Museum's Backyard Spiders - Little ones can get up close and personal with live spiders, make a crafty spider, spin a web and chill in the Curiosity lounge. Make sure you checkout Top Designs 2015 while you're there. (Closed Good Friday).
Alice's Wonderland at Scienceworks (our review) - Little ones can fall down the rabbit hole and play with illusions and puzzles. Don't forget to checkout Deep Oceans before the 12th April. Little Miss loves chilling in the Octonauts' lounge! (Closed Good Friday).
Happy Travels at the Immigration Museum - Little ones can create their own travel lucky charm and bring their scooter/bike or pedal car to decorate and parade it in the museum's courtyard. (Closed Good Friday).
Inspiration by Design: Word and Image at the State Library of Victoria - See stunning art, graphics, photography and illustration from the renowned Victoria and Albert Museum in London. (Closed Good Friday).
A Golden Age of China and Jamie North's Rock Melt at the NGV International - Explore a rich concentration of more than 120 works from the Palace Museum's art collection and see Jamie North's large sculptural columns in Federation Court. (Closed Tuesdays and Good Friday). Little ones can have one last go at Express Yourself: Romance was Born for Kids until the 12th of April.
Shifting Gear: Design, Innovation and the Australian Car and StArt Up Top Arts 2015 at the NGV Australia/Fed Square - Celebrate Australia's important and proud history of automobile design and engineering as well as outstanding work from students who have completed Art or Studio Arts studies in their VCE. (Closed Mondays and Good Friday).
McClelland Sculpture Park & Gallery - The gallery is hosting two crafty activities for littles one 3 years +. Perfect before or after a sculpture park visit.
Melbourne Zoo's Wombat's Secret Maze - Little ones will find themselves gliding down a Long Drop Slide and crawling through the Flush & Run tunnel while searching for clues. (Kids are free weekends and VIC school holidays). And don't forget to checkout the Lion Gorge and the new baby Gorilla!
Werribee Zoo's Gorilla Rangers on Patrol - The Ranger Kids area will be transformed into a gorilla sanctuary, little ones can be face to face with gorillas on a gorilla mission and learn all about these amazing animals. (Kids are free weekends and VIC school holidays).
Healesville's Zoo's Corroboree Celebration - Enjoy dreaming stories about our unique wildlife as told by this land's traditional owners. Little ones can take part in rock art painting and cultural mapping. (Kids are free weekends and VIC school holidays).
Sea Life Aquarium's New Claws exhibit - See six new interactive displays featuring all new species and the star Japanese Spider Crab.
Shopping Centres:
Watergardens First Animal animatronic Display - Little ones can checkout the life-like animatronic display, create their own mask and take a snap with a panda at the photo station.
Eastland Shopping - Little ones can enjoy a live show of SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, decorate a Cat in the Hat cupcake, accessorise their own Little Pony and meet the Easter Bunny.
Harbour Town - Little ones can enjoy LEGO® Brick Zone activities as well as an Easter Bunny Hunt and appearance.
Highpoint - Hop into Highpoint for an Easter Egg hunt and some Easter school holiday activities.

KidzAid's CPR Challenge and Family Fun Day at Crown's Palladium on Good Friday - Learn CPR, help break the CPR record and have a fun day while raising money for the Good Friday Appeal.
Hungry Caterpillar Show (our review) - The caterpillar is making its way off the page and onto the stage with 75 beautiful puppets and three other Eric Carle stories. We loved it, our review is coming soon!
Moonee Valley Libraries Easter sessions - Craft and Mini Maestros sessions will be available during the Easter break however bookings are essential.
Melbourne Library Service - City of Melbourne libraries are running some easter holiday activities, they are Free but bookings are essential as they are selling out fast!
