Maribyrnong Park playground off the Boulevard, Moonee Ponds

This will have to be one of little Miss' favourite playground in the area along with the Black Sapphire Pirate Ship on Fawkner Street also off the Boulevard.

The Maribyrnong Park off the Boulevard is conveniently located along the Maribyrnong river and the Boathouse café so you can combine a stroll, a coffee and a play date!

Lots to do for little ones with two sets of swings, three slides, a seesaw, a boat, monkey bars, some musical setups, a little cubby and lots more!

Trees have been recently trimmed however the shade cloths on-site will still provide a bit of shade. 

There are lots of places to sit and grass to have a picnic on with a nearby rotunda, a wavy path for little ones to run along or use their bike or scooter on.

Little Miss loves the sculptures' area near the playground and running along the wavy path. Her favourite thing is the boat though which she likes to do 'row row your boat' on.

We love this playground however it can get quite busy during weekends especially when the weather is nice. It is very close to the Maribyrnong river with no fencing so parents need to be careful of little ones running off, Little Miss seems to love doing that lately! 

There is parking next to the playground along the Boulevard. The Maribyrnong Park playground is located at 7 The Boulevard, Moonee Ponds.
