Adelaide Zoo Nature Playground - Adelaide - Review
Opened in late 2015, the Adelaide Zoo Playground is pretty impressive! Visitors of all ages can have fun while exploring nature.
The playground includes play equipment built on nature play principles that stimulate all the senses through climbing structures, water play features, a natural creek bed and aerial walkways. Kids can a birds-eye-view of the Zoo, the CBD and the riverbank from atop the aerial walkway which is also accessible via a lift for wheelchair and pram users.
Kids can slide, climb, jump and wonder around the playground. There are lots of opportunities for them to climb through the structures or around the playground on trees and the like. They can build a fort with branches, sticks and leaves nearby too. They can jump on one of the three inbuilt trampolines. They can also splash and play through a series of water jets and discover tadpoles and frogs in the natural creek bed. Lots to do and the kids won't want to leave the playground after entering it, so best visit the Zoo first ha!
This playground is located inside the Adelaide Zoo which is on Frome Road in Adelaide city near the Botanic Park. Entry is included with Zoo entry.
