Circus Oz: Aurora - Melbourne - Review
Circus Oz is back with a new show and Kate’s little circus fans could not wait to see it, thanks Kate for the great review and pics! Circus Oz: Aurora is on now at the Royal Botanic Gardens under the Big Top under the 6th of October - a perfect school holiday activity.
Roll up, roll up! The Circus Oz Big Top has returned to Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria these school holidays to premiere the latest Circus Oz creation: Aurora.
Blasting audiences into other atmospheres, Aurora is an exhilarating and awe-inspiring 70-minute spectacular.
From jaw-dropping acrobatics, impossibly intricate foot-juggling and stunning visual projections, to breathtaking hula hoops, hair-raising balances and absurd physical comedy, Aurora is a collision of amazing artistic elements.
The outrageously talented Circus Oz acrobats have never been afraid of heights, but in Aurora they are pushed beyond their earthly limits with a feast of aerial delights: flying, swinging, straps and the incredible Washington trapeze (where aerialists perform various headstand skills on the bar). It’s a fast paced, blink and you will miss it show, that is kept rocketing along by the original live music from the Circus Oz band.
There’s nothing like a circus show for great family entertainment! So grab some freshly popped popcorn and head into the Circus Oz Big Top to see Melbourne’s homegrown circus troupe perform their latest heart-stopping offering.
Tip - Watch out for the cheeky - snack eating, beach ball throwing - penguins at the start of the show + be sure to stay around after the show for a meet and greet with the performers in the adjacent tent.
