Fratelli Fresh Manly - Sydney - Review
Last night, Fratelli Fresh Manly invited us over for dinner. No cooking or doing dishes on a Sunday (or any day for that matter), yes please! Fratelli Fresh Manly opened mid last year in the ex-Criniti’s corner spot opposite Manly Wharf. The restaurant has a great vibe, atmosphere and is very open and perfectly located in Manly for a walk along the beach after dinner.

The team at Fratelli Fresh recently introduced a lower range of pricing, a very affordable set menu at $39 pp and a supercharged happy hour 2.0. When we arrived at Fratelli Fresh Manly, we were greeted by friendly staff and sat at one of their high tables overlooking the Manly Wharf next to the open windows, the summer weather was great last night. The kids were treated to kids Busy Nippers packs which include colouring pencils, activity book with fun cards inside which the kids and their dad kept playing with while we waited between meals.
We tried the Adult $39 pp set menu which includes an entrée, main and dessert. Plenty of options to choose from, we tried the Arancini tomato base balls and Calamari for entrées. Perfectly cooked calamari with a gorgeous Aioli sauce to go with and crispy Arancini balls with delicious rice inside. For main, I chose the Linguine Prawn pasta and hubby the Margherita Pizza. Other main choices included 2 salad choices, 3 pasta choices and 2 pizza choices. I really loved my Prawn Linguine pasta, great flavours with moon blushed cherry tomatoes, some chilli, rocket, garlic and tasty prawns. The portion was very generous and lots for me to eat but so delicious so I couldn’t leave anything behind! The pizzas were great, the bases were just perfect with tasty toppings too.
The kids selected their pizzas from the Kids Menu which I must say as easy choices such as Cheese Pizza, Ham Pizza with white sauce, Grilled Chicken Salad, Spaghetti Napolitana or Bolognese or Chicken Nuggets & Fries. Did you know Kids under 12 Eat Free at Frantelli every day? Buy one adult main meal and receive one free kid’s main meal. The offer is valid on a kid’s main meal only - drinks and dessert not included and other conditions apply however that’s pretty awesome and the portions are amazing! The kids loved their pizzas!
For our dessert part of the Set Menu, we opted for gelato. We were pretty full by then so the kids chose the dessert of 2 scoops of gelato ice cream. Other dessert options were Hazelnut Tiramisu, Banoffee pie and Key lime and meringue tart - which all sound delicious so I will be sure to try one those next time! Needless to say the kids were in gelato heaven and licked every little bit. It’s funny how there’s always room for dessert for kids ha!
We had a great time tonight at Fratelli Fresh Manly, it’s such a great family friendly location with great atmosphere, great layout, very open setup, lots of seating, friendly staff and delicious food with affordable and generous portions. We will be sure to pop back soon. My son already asked me this morning when we can go next haha! Thanks Fratelli Fresh Manly for the awesome experience!
