Major Fun Freshwater - Harbord Diggers - Freshwater - Sydney - Review

This morning, the kids and I were invited at the official opening of Major Fun at Harbord Diggers in Freshwater. This brand NEW purpose built play centre has been on the pipeline for a few years now to entertain young children on the Sydney Northern Beaches.

The Major Fun centre at Harbord Diggers in Freshwater has been designed by a mother of two who knows how important it is for families to entertain their children whilst still going out socialising and having coffee or dinner with friends & family.

We love the marine animals and the ocean design which reflects well with the nearby Freshwater beach setting. This fully secure (gated), fully carpeted and air conditioned play venue caters for kids under 1 year up to 12 years of age. There is a dedicated toddler area for little ones to play together with obstacles and a slide.

Little Mister was obsessed with the interactive floors, slides and walls in the centre, he spent lots of time there playing with friends, jumping around and having fun.

There is also another large area where kids of all ages can mingle, go through obstacles, climb, slide, jump, play, go across nets, use flying fox etc. so much fun and parents can come inside the enclosures to help little ones.

Little Mister loved exploring the areas with his sister and going down the popular interactive slide. I did a test run too and it was fun, little Miss is thinking of wearing leggings next time for the slide to help her slide down faster as she really liked it.

There’s so much to do and explore that it will keep the kids busy for hours! Luckily from next Monday entry is not timed so there’s no rush which is amazing and entry is very affordable so it’s perfect for a coffee catchup, playdate, weekday or weekend play, lunch, drop & dining, birthday parties the list goes on! There’s a dedicated café onsite, lots of sitting areas to have a snack and coffee/drink, plenty of car spots downstairs with wet weather access, a full café and restaurants in the Harbord Diggers Club - it’s perfect!

The centre has two mascots - Mala and Max, their very own junior explorers. They are an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate duo who are the face of Major Fun. There are fun facts to learn about them and nature & the environment across Major Fun.

We had a great time at Major Fun Harbord Diggers Freshwater today, Little Mister who is 5 years old really enjoyed it, loved the interactive slide and the interactive games on the floor and screens as well as going through all the obstacles he could find! His sister who is 8 years old did enjoy it still, she asked that a friend comes with her next time. The club is currently working on improving intermittent mobile reception issues in the center and have FREE wifi available which is great.
