The Fans Strike Back Exhibition® at The District Docklands - Review
During our recent Melbourne visit, we headed to The Fans Strike Back® Exhibition at The District Docklands. Mister and I are Star Wars fans so we quite enjoyed looking at this huge collection of collectables, very impressive! Renata and her daughter and teen friends also enjoyed the exhibition during a seperate visit.

This was a popular spot for photos, I wasn’t sure that Mister was up to when I took the photos but he explained it to me after and it made sense, I forgot that part ha!

There are few areas of selfies, photos with props or this one where you can pretend to hold a lightsaber. You can buy your own at the front desk too. I bought one for Mister and he showed me the force!

I am old enough to remember the original Star Wars movies and the cute Ewoks!

While the majority of the collection are originals from the Star Wars Saga collection, many props were handmade by collectors and creators using household items and various other bits & pieces and paint and the results were very impressive! You can see how some artefacts were built from scratch by collectors in the various videos throughout the exhibition.

There is also an impressive collection of Lego Star Wars that collectors have built tirelessly! We have a few unfinished Star Wars projects at home hopefully this will inspire us to finish them soon.

Anastasia loved this exhibition as a big fan of Star Wars, a lot of the collection reminded her of the movies and shows - she had an amazing time visiting The Fans Strike Back® exhibition at The District Docklands.

I really enjoyed it too and loved going down memory lane with Yoda and others but this statue made me laugh in particular as it’s probably how much I feel I have aged after a rough 2024!

Level up your visit with their onsite Arcade Game experience! Grab some coins at the box office to play for free and add even more fun to your galactic journey. We didn’t realise you could grab some coins from the box office but happy to pay $2 towards this great game. Mister loved playing this game and so did Anastasia and her friends during their seperate visit!
