Gymstars Cheerleaders Birthday Party - Brookvale - Sydney - Review

Earlier this year, little Miss was invited to a friend’s birthday party, but not just any party - a Gymstars Cheerleaders Birthday Party brought to you by the same people who run Ninja Kids in Brookvale.

The Gymstars Party Team are a group of professional, American style, competitive cheerleaders who will teach some dance and cheer routines and show some fun stunts and tumbling to party guests! All routines are age appropriate, fun and easy for guests to perform. The Gymstars Party Team also did a few fun games like dance statues and guests when we attended and were treated to a cute glitter tattoo on arrival too.

Little Miss loved the pom poms and getting lifted by the cheerleaders and also loved how her little group were shown a specific routine which they then completed all by themselves.

The Messy Shed Balwyn - Melbourne - Review

Kate and her messy play lovers headed to The Messy Shed Balwyn last week to checkout what the mess was about ha! They spent a great hour enjoying free play at different stations all themed with Spring season messy activities. It looks like they had a great time! Thanks for the review and pics Kate. xo Catherine

Their 45-minute sensory play sessions challenge children to think, interact, explore and most of all, have fun! Each week they run with a different theme, so whether it’s getting muddy with farm animals, digging with dinosaurs, making potions or creeping around with crawlies - there’s is something for everyone. With no rules except each activity stays within its allocated areas these sessions are completely child-led, which is just the way we like it!

Our visit coincided with Spring activities which saw the poppets paint with fresh flowers, shear lambs, colour matching bugs, make things out of recycled materials and lots of water play! Lucky we bought a change of clothes!

Ninja Kids - Brookvale - Sydney - Review

A while back, little Miss was invited to a friend's birthday party at Ninja Kids in Brookvale. The Ninja Kids centre provides Ninja Warrior style obstacle course and tumbling classes and runs school holiday programs and birthday parties for kids 5 to 15 years.

Ninja Kids is all about improving confidence, flexibility, fitness, co-ordination in children all while letting them have heaps of fun in the process!

Little Miss and her friends loved the different obstacle courses available. Kids were able to run up to a wall and climb up to press a bell, do a tricky obstacle course which challenged them for quite some time and let them climb through rope structure and loops across the foam pit and do different jumps over the foam pit.
