OUR REVIEW OF GREAT SOUTHERN LEGO®️ REEF HERE

Enter the enchanting world of the Weedy Seadragon! Discover the wonders of the Great Southern Reef – one Australia’s least known, but most astonishing ecosystems – through the joy of LEGO®️ construction. Join us on this building adventure, where every brick brings the underwater realm to life.

Created with the Great Southern Reef Foundation and Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught, children (and adults) can construct some of the world’s rarest and most fascinating sea creatures in LEGO®️ bricks. Build one of eight different creatures, or create your own at the ‘free play’ table and them to the shared reef in the centre of the space. From red handfish to striped pyjama squids, let imagination flow like ocean currents.

An incredible biodiversity hotspot, the Great Southern Reef is a reef system spanning over 8,000 km, wrapping around Australia's southern coastline, from Kalbarri in Western Australia to the New South Wales-Queensland border. Encompassing different habitats – from kelp forests to seagrass meadows and oyster reefs – the Great Southern Reef is home to iconic species found nowhere else on the planet.
