Sensory-friendly Art After Hours at the Art Gallery of NSW

  • Art Gallery of NSW (map)

Join us for a sensory-friendly Art After Hours on Wednesday 6 March 2024 at the Art Gallery of New South Wales' North Building.

This is an opportunity for visitors who may benefit from a calmer, quieter environment to experience the Art Gallery with reduced sensory stimuli. There will be fewer people, no public announcements and gentler light during this evening.

This event may suit people on the autism spectrum and those living with disability, dementia, a mental health condition or chronic illness. All ages are welcome.

This is part of a series of accessible events on 6 March including a Wellbeing through art panel discussion and drop-in workshop.

Event details:

  • Date: Wednesday 6 March 2024 from 5–10pm

  • Duration: 5 hours

  • Location: Art Gallery of New South Wales - North Building

  • Ages: All welcome
