Chifley Drive Reserve playground - Maribyrnong
The Chifley Drive Reserve playground is a new playground which was recently established by the Maribyrnong Council along the Maribyrnong river.
The playground is pretty basic with a spinner, a large round swing and a combination unit but little Miss was happy to give it a go, climb on the spider net, swing on the large swing and go down the fire pole and slide.
A picnic setting and a junior rugby goal will be installed near the playground in the near future.
New posts and rail fencing have been installed near the playground. No shading or public toilets are available at this playground but there is a drink fountain stop near & across the foot bridge.
There is parking next to the playground or across the foot bridge. The playground is right next to the Maribyrnong river and the reserve is a dog off-leash area so parents need to be vigilant.
This playground is part of the Chifley drive reserve, please see map for further location.
