Feed The Family at The Bavarian Manly Wharf - Sydney - Review
We were recently invited to review The Bavarian’s Summer Holiday family menu Feed the Family. Since we live on the Northern Beaches, we chose its Manly Wharf location and what a great choice that was! Starting with the view onto Manly Cove beach and the water, The Bavarian Manly Wharf is very well located to accomodate people inside and outside.

The Feed The Family menu is a share-style type of menu, designed for 2 adults and 2 kids (children need to be 12 years or younger) and the entire package costs $49 and is available daily before 6pm. First up we received warm freshly baked salty pretzels perfect to have with soft melted butter and a drink. Little Miss and her brother had a delicious apple juice with an apple slice on top, us parents chose a beverage of our choice and of course a beer since we were in a Bavarian Beer Restaurant! Note - drinks are not included with the price of this special menu.

After our delicious pretzels, the friendly staff cleared our table and delivered us the piece de resistance - the main meal which had deliciously cooked large chicken schnitzel pieces served with side of mushroom sauce and lemon wedges, french fries & tomato sauce and a gorgeous salad (roasted pumpkin, beetroot, baby spinach, quinoa, sliced radish, goat cheese and thin sliced of almonds) - just grand!

There was definitely plenty of food for the four of us and more with the Feed the Family menu which is more like a Feast! We were getting quite full by that time so we welcomed a little break between main and desert. Hubby was pretty happy he could watch the cricket across so many tvs ha! I was too happy looking over the water. Kids were eager for ice cream!

The final part of the Feed the Family menu was some delicious vanilla ice cream for the kids and a plate of flaky pastry apple strudel for the parents to share (well I enjoyed it too much to really share the strudel haha sorry not sorry!).

Overall, we were very impressed with The Bavarian Manly Wharf, its location, friendly & efficient staff and above all the fresh and delicious food which was delivered to us. Definitely great value for money to have all that food at the table for $49! Thank you to The Bavarian for having us, we really enjoyed our visit!

The Feed the Family Feast is available at The Bavarian restaurants across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, the ACT and South Australia. The offer is $49 for kids aged 12 or under and is available before 6pm from December 2 to January 30 2021. The offer does not include drinks.
The Bavarian Venues, can be found here. For a full family day out if you are in Sydney, checkout the Entertainment Quarter’s which during the summer holidays has Waterworld Central and a Bavarian restaurant conveniently located there.
Staff will ask but in case you have any dietary requirements/changes to the menu, inform staff at arrival or via your booking.
Due to Covid restrictions, bookings are essential, QR code scanning via the Services NSW App is required as well as sanitising.
