Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) Tour - Australian Sports Museum - Melbourne - Review
Last April, Kate took her footy fans to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). They really enjoyed taking part in the iconic MCG Tour to soak up the amazing grounds where great players have played, explore the inner sanctum and walk along the grounds!
A sports fan’s dream for Kate’s two children to take part in the tour before heading to the Australian Sports Museum (our review here). They loved the experience and getting facts from their knowledgeable MCC volunteer tour guide - amazing fun-filled day all around!
The 60 minute MCG Tour is great to gain an insight into Melbourne's sporting culture.
Highlights of the tour include: The famous MCC Long Room, MCC Library (founded in 1873), MCG Tapestry, Player change rooms, Cricketers’ viewing room, Ron Casey Media Centre, Portrait of Sir Donald Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar, A walk on the arena, Cricket Victoria Bill Lawry Centre, Ponsford Stand and City Terrace with view’s of Melbourne’s skyline.
Such a great place to reflect on the history of the sport and the games played on such incredible grounds!
Kate and her little ones had the best time when they toured the MCG and learned so much, they were all smiles!
Busy City Kids were hosted by the Australian Sports Museum and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for the purposes of a review. Travel & parking was self funded. All opinions & feedback are genuine & truthful.
