A series of free events is set to bring festival vibes to local communities across Sydney, starting from Saturday 1 November.
The hugely popular Sydney Streets series will see local high streets buzz with street performers, family-friendly activities and outdoor dining, while local businesses showcase their wares with shopfront pop-ups, special promotions and performances.
Traffic will make way as the City of Sydney fills streets with live entertainment and plenty for everyone to enjoy.
Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore AO said the City of Sydney is activating streets to stimulate the economy and create long-term benefits for the entire community.
“The Sydney Streets series has been pivotal in encouraging businesses and communities to collaborate and bring local neighbourhoods and precincts to life,” the Lord Mayor said.
“We understand how much public events mean to our communities, and these one-day takeovers transform some of our most-loved high streets into hubs of fun, food and entertainment.”
