Play World Australia is a brand new, large scale event designed by kids, for kids! Children will be encouraged to make-believe, imagine, play, touch, create, laugh & explore their world, their way at Play World. Play World is taking over the ICC in Darling Harbour these September school holidays, offering kids and their parents the best school holiday day out ever!

Aimed at kids aged 4 to 12 years, Play World is a promise to kids, to create a high energy, engaging, interactive and most importantly, fun event experience unlike anything Australia has seen before.

From Star Wars Jedi training to slime DIY, coding workshops to car racing, and Nintendo Switch battles to ultimate Nerf Wars, Play World has something for every kid.

Hosted by the ‘super fun’ YouTuber and TV personality, Elly Awesome, the Main Stage will be graced with exciting special guests, cool ‘how to’ sessions and epic performances from some of Aussie kids’ favourite influencers and performers.

Play World’s Marketing Manager, Laura Blagys promises, “With leading children’s brands like Nintendo, Peppa Pig, Hasbro, Star Wars, Foxtel and Spotlight all on board, Play World will see the leaders in toy creation and kids entertainment pull off the most immersive children’s event Australia has ever seen.”

Play World Australia will be held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney's Darling Harbour from the Saturday 29th September to the 30th of September from 9am to 5pm both days. Tickets range from Free entry for kids 3 and under, $19.95 for kids 4 to 12 years (or $30 at the door) and $24.95 for kids 13 and over including adults (or $35 at the door) so book ahead online.

On the same weekend, Oz Comic-Con is on too - back for another awesome event! This year's event will feature exciting multi-genre content from across the spectrum – appearances by film and television stars, comic book artists and voice actors; gaming demonstrations and cosplay competitions; creative workshops and master classes; and hard-to-find, exclusive merchandise from vendors. Oz Comic-Con proudly supports local Australian talent and businesses in many areas, providing a platform to showcase Australian creativity and endeavours. Tickets range from Child single day pass $20 (or $25 at the door) or Adult single day pass $35 (or $45 at the door) so book ahead online. Two day passes as well as a combined Play World and Oz Comic-Con ticket is available for purchase online before the events!
